EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MODEL OF CARE FOR ADULTS
ACCESSING TALKING THERAPY WHILE ATTENDING MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
SUMMARY
HSE Mental Health Operations invites applications from suitably
qualified and experienced clinicians or researchers to undertake an
evaluation of implementation of the Model of Care for Adults Accessing
Talking Therapy while attending Mental Health Services. It is
envisaged that the successful applicant will work collaboratively with
all key stakeholders and involve them in the evaluation design
process. Initial fieldwork and stakeholder engagement must be
undertaken between April and September **Apply on the website** with a
view to baseline information being gathered and ongoing monitoring and
evaluation structures being established and in place from the
beginning of Q4 of **Apply on the website** onwards.
THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF THIS TENDER PROJECT ARE TO:
* Gather and report on by September **Apply on the website** baseline
information, insofar on as is possible, from each of the Community
Healthcare Organisations (CHOs) who are involved in the initial
roll-out of the model of care, on the three key domains of:
* Current practice / activity levels in the delivery of talking
therapy to adult community mental health service users
* Experience of talking therapies in mental health services from the
perspective of all key stakeholders, including service users and
clinicians
* Current measurement of mental health / recovery outcomes.
* Produce by September **Apply on the website**, in collaboration
with the CHOs, a monitoring and evaluation plan encompassing the above
domains, in keeping with the model of care, for each of the relevant
Community Healthcare Organisations (CHOs).
* Facilitate the CHO Talking Therapy hub teams in the activation /
implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plan for talking
therapies in adult community mental health services.
* Receive data from each of the relevant CHOs, in keeping with the
evaluation plan, and analyse and prepare a report by end of Q**Apply
